MESSAGE FROM THE WAA PRESIDENT

Dear colleagues,

We would like to announce that the 17th International Congress Of World Apheresis Association is decided to be held as hybrid at the beginning of September 14-17, 2022  in Istanbul, with The European Society for Hemapheresis and World Apheresis Associaton as a joint. The main theme of the Congress will not change and all accepted panels and papers will be maintained.

Istanbul, the only city in the world built on two continents, stands on both shores of the Bosphorus where the waters of the Black Sea mingle with those of the Sea of Marmara. Istanbul has endless variety with its gourmet restaurants and nightlife, arts, museums, ancient churches, palaces, great mosques, bazaars, and Bosphorus. However long you stay, whether for just a few days or longer, your visit to this eclectic city will be unforgettable.

We would like to thank you all for your cooperation and understanding during this hard period.

We look forward to welcoming you to the World Apheresis Association Congress 2022 ISTANBUL!

Prof. Dr. Fevzi Altuntaş
Congress President
